my 1st post since i arrived here.Changchun,china.
no work today because my poor roomate is sick.Vomitted during midnight and tummyache.get well soon!

Oh well.Its been almost a week +.
Flew from SG-HK-BEIJING.Then trained from Beijing-changchun.The train ride was a remarkably unforgettable experience.lol.
Changchun,capital of Jilin province.Its cold,wintry and snowy.
We have to put on layers of "amour" to conquer the crazy stingy cold.I wear like 4 tops,2bottoms,2socks and a down fur jacket daily.So its quite irritating that you have to put on that amount of clothes daily.

Food here is not too bad compared to other places of China.Though the oilyness and saltiness cant be avoided.But the places we are brought to are still acceptable.Their rice is superb!Even though I'm not a rice lover.Their rice here is similar to jap's rice.Short,fat and a little sticky.I thought of buying back the rice.haha.silly.

Generally people here speak only 1 language,chinese.They hardly know any dialets nor English.But we have met a few at our work place who can speak a little english that we are able to understand.Contrary to what i have heard back in SG that northerners are big built,rowdy and unreasonable.I feel that people from beijing are much worse compared to people here.

My highlights for the last weekend.SKIING!!!
It was at Lian Hua Shan.
Zooming down the slope,falling on the snow.
At first it was so hard to just even go up a little slope.It took us lots of determination.
Then it was my turn to go for my first time.As expected, i fell half way through the slope.
2nd try,i ski-ed toward the right and hit onto the side fell again.
3rd try,tried to brake but couldnt,so ski-ed towards the right again and fell.This time my ski shoes were deattached from the ski and i was stucked there for quite some time.LOL.until my friend came which was quite long.the ski had to be adjusted -.-
4th try,ski smoothly down.But i couldnt brake and was still at a fast speed!hahha.no choice,there was a group of people standing in my way.I had to steer away.As a result i ski-ed and went under the metal bar where it was at the entrance for us to go up the travellator.brake and fell.
Since i was at the entrance to the travellator already,i had to go up for another time.
5th try,ski smoothly down and finally was able to break!hahha.
Adrenaline rush!

its SUPERB TO MAX.enjoyed myself lotss.
Can I go SKI again before the snow melts.haha
